Business Analytics BOOTCAMP Sessions  

We’re back with Session #2 of the Business Analytics Bootcamp, hosted by Carlos Molina (AIS President)!

This interactive workshop will dive into key business analysis skills including Requirements Gathering, User Stories, and Project Management Tools. Attendees will also participate in a hands-on SQL practice activity to strengthen their technical foundation.

Whether you’re just getting started with analytics or looking to expand your knowledge, this session will help you build confidence, sharpen your skills, and understand how data brings business strategies to life.

AIS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM:

SUPPORTED BY MICROSOFT

AIS is excited to announce our Fall Internship Program supported by Microsoft! This hands-on experience will bring on 6–8 interns to work on a real-world project: building a dynamic analytics solution to help students find affordable housing using Microsoft Fabric. Interns will gain practical experience with Microsoft tools, develop a resume-ready project, and have strong interview talking points. Participants can choose between a Technical or Business Analyst track, while also benefiting from mentorship, networking, and professional development opportunities. To be eligible, applicants must be paid AIS members in good standing, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, complete the interview process, and commit to attending AIS meetings through November.

  • Meetings will be held every Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at KIN 059.

  • You do not need to be an Information Systems student to join. We welcome all majors for open opportunities and membership.

  • For the Spring 2025 semester, membership prices will be $40 in cash and $45 through our CashNet portal.
